Katariin has been actively playing and introducing the music of jaw harp the last 15 years. First Norwegian music of munnharpe under the guidance of Tom Willy Rustad and Sigurd Brokke, later Estonian music by herself. In 2018 Katariin released her album “PARMU PILL” where she focuses on solo play, the instruments, the smiths and new music for parmupill.
She has been playing solo concerts with parmupill in Russia(2015), Norway (2018), Rudolstadt festival, Germany (2019), Umefolk, Sweden (2020), Mouth Music Festival in Dromore, Ireland (2022).
In 2019 she formed Estonian jaw harp association Parmupilli Selts with the aim to spread the knowledge of parmupill and its music.
